Aquapark
There are several water parks in the area. Some smaller and some larger, but there is no doubt you will have a lot of water fun.

Botanical Gardens Elche
About half an hour drive you find Elx / Elche, also called the palmtree capital of Spain. Park your car in the middle of town and then walk trough the cozy center to the 2 parks.
Here you can enjoy the many palm trees and cactuses in a beautifully landscaped park.
Murcia
Murcia is a city with history, but with a very modern character. The city is also known for its innovativeness and creativity. Among the historic buildings you will find extraordinary architectural marvels.
The cozy squares with delicious restaurants make Murcia a fun day out. Murcia is about a 45-minute drive away.
Torrevieja
In the cozy seaside resort of Torrevieja everything comes together. Mile long beaches, lively promenade, large park and cultural addresses.
Around the harbor people feast on fresh fish and dance until late at night.

The Island Tabarca
Just a half hour away by boat is the island Tabarca. It is only 2 km long and half a km wide. It is a dream for lovers of clear water to dive or snorkel around. The beaches are in picturesque coves and the fish restaurants in the harbor are very cosy.
In the port of Torrevieja, the company Maritimas organizes daily boat trips to this beautiful island.
The Pink Lake
Las Salindas de Torrevieja is a lake that sometimes seems to be colored pink by the salt. You can get here by car, or by a little train that takes you along the lake. It is also a nice place to do a simple walk.
Do put on your old shoes because the paths around the lake can sometimes be quite muddy.
Furthermore, you can see various birds here, and of course the babbling water of the lake itself.
